SONICS partner with AthletePlus!!
AthletePlus, at the All Star Sports Arena, is the physical therapy and speed training partner for all SONIC kids. AthletePlus offers the following specials for you:
1) AthletePlus Physical Therapy and Sports Performance is the official Physical Therapy provider to the Springdale Sonics organization. Sonic players coaches and parents will receive special consideration from AthletePlus as our preferred partner. Ask your doctor to refer you to AthletePlus for physical therapy as patients have a choice where they would like to attend. Many physicans in the area have their own therapist, but the parents just have to request to go to AthletePlus and your physician must allow you that choice
2) SPEED TRAINING: AthletePlus is offering a free Speed Training session for all Sonics teams. The session will last an hour. Athletes will go through a typical session of training and coaches will be educated on the benefits of speed and vertical jump training, along with core strengthening and injury prevention. Prevention of ACL injuries and other knee injuries, particularly for females are other aspects of training. Our training is usually for ages 7 and up. We will be offering a significant discount for the teams. Regular prices are $275 for 12 sessions for 13 and up and $200 for 12 and under for 12 sessions. 24 sessions are regularly $500 for 13 and up and $375 for 12 and under. We also offer 36 sessions or a monthly fee for a minimum of 6 months. For our initial special offer, we can 12 sessions for $50 each for 6 or more players from the same team. Teams will be able to sign up for discounted speed and vertical jump training that takes place 2-3 times a week for an hour at a time. The FREE Injury Evaluation from a physical therapist for any Sonics player, coach, or parent will be discussed along with the state of the art equipment utilized at AthletePlus Physical Therapy and Sports Performance. FREE Speed Training Session sign up times: Tuesday or Thursday at 6 are times available. We would like to get everyone scheduled as soon as we can, before these times get filled up with athletes. Email amanda@athleteplus.net for other possible times to be scheduled.
FREE Injury Evaluation: Sprained ankles, knee and shoulder injuries, back and neck pain are typical injuries seen at AthletePlus. Athletes may call 751-8437 or email amanda@athleteplus.net to schedule an appointment. Tuesday from 4-6 pm is a designated time for Sonics, but we will make every attempt to get the athlete or parent seen for their FREE injury evaluation and treatment if needed. The athlete will be referred to a physician if needed and we accept all insurance or cash payment. We also are able to get patients in to an orthopedic or family practice physician much quicker. We have ankle braces in stock at AthletePlus in the All-Star Sports Arena.
